Dan Arnold Agrees To One-Year Deal With Eagles
2 years agoFormer Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Dan Arnold agreed to an undisclosed one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, according to a source. The former undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin-Platteville will give the Eagles more tight end depth behind Dallas Goedert, but the Eagles also have Jack Stoll, Tyree Jackson, Dalton Keene and Grant Calcaterra at the position. Arnold had just nine catches on 13 targets for 135 yards and no touchdowns in 17 games (zero starts) for the Jaguars last year. He was more productive in 2021 with 35 receptions and 408 receiving yards with the Jags and Carolina Panthers, but the 28-year-old hasn't found the end zone since 2020. Arnold would only become somewhat interesting in fantasy if Goedert misses any time, and even then, he wouldn't be guaranteed a huge pass-catching role.
