Zach Neto Day-To-Day With Finger Contusion
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels rookie shortstop Zach Neto (finger) was removed from Wednesday's game early against the St. Louis Cardinals with a right-finger contusion. He's being listed as day-to-day for now, which means he may not have to miss much time at all, if any. Neto was hit by a pitch on his right hand while attempting to bunt in the fifth inning and was removed after finishing his at-bat. The 22-year-old infielder went 1-for-3 in the ballgame before departing early. Coming into Wednesday's game against St. Louis, Neto had gone 15-for-57 (.263) with four doubles, five home runs, a stolen base and four runs scored in 65 plate appearances and his first 17 major-league games. Hopefully for fantasy managers in deeper leagues, Neto won't miss much time at all.
