German Marquez Dealing With Pain In Triceps
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Colorado Rockies right-hander German Marquez (triceps) had an exam in Cleveland after leaving his start Wednesday early against the Guardians. Marquez is dealing with pain in his right triceps, but not his forearm, where his previous injury was. A team doctor is encouraged, but Marquez will have an MRI exam in Denver on Thursday. The 28-year-old just came off the 15-day injured list with right forearm inflammation, so hopefully he can avoid another trip back to the IL after allowing three runs on six hits (one homer) while walking one and striking out four in just 3 2/3 innings in a loss Wednesday. We'll know more on Thursday, but fantasy managers should prepare for the worst.
