2 years agoUtah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen was named the 2022-23 Most Improved Player of the Year on Monday. The 2017 No. 7 overall pick had the best year of his career, logging a career-high 25.6 points per game, 10.8 points higher than the previous season. He also averaged 8.6 rebounds, shot 39.2% from deep, and was an All-Star for the first time. Without question, Markkanen will see a substantial uptick in fantasy interest heading into the 2023-24 campaign.
