Chris Bassitt Leaves Monday's Start With Apparent Injury
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays right-hander Chris Bassitt left his Monday start in the seventh inning with an apparent injury. Bassitt had one out in the seventh inning against the Chicago White Sox before departing. He wound up allowing two runs on three hits in 6 1/3 innings while striking out four and walking three. The Blue Jays replaced him on the mound with Zach Pop after Bassitt bounced a pitch to the plate and immediately motioned for the trainer to come out.
