Anthony Edwards Continues Great Series With 34-Point Effort
2 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards had another productive performance in the first-round series against Denver on Sunday, helping the team to stave off elimination with a 34-point effort. Edwards has led the Timberwolves in scoring in each of the four games so far and did it this time with 12-for-27 shooting from the field. He hit 5-for-16 from downtown and added six rebounds and five assists to his line with two steals and three blocks. The 21-year-old is the third-best scorer in these playoffs with a 32.3-point scoring average, and he's been a monster across the board, getting 4.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.0 blocks and 2.3 steals.
