Nikola Jokic Ties Playoff Career High With 43 Points Sunday
2 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was a scoring machine and tied his playoff career high with 43 points in Sunday's Game 4 loss to Minnesota. He finished 15-for-26 from the field with an 8-for-12 record at the line and dropped five three-point bombs with eight attempts. Jokic pulled down 11 rebounds and also had six assists in the game with two steals. His spectacular performance included a three-minute stretch at the end of regulation where Jokic scored or assisted on all Denver points during a 12-0 run, which helped the Nuggets force overtime in the contest. Unfortunately for Jokic & Co., they couldn't get the job done in the extra frame, but hoop heads won't complain about getting to see more basketball in the playoffs. Jokic will enter Tuesday's Game 5 averaging 25.8 points, 11.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists in the series.
