2 years agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Logan O'Hoppe (shoulder) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. He left early during Thursday's game after experiencing pain in his shoulder from swinging the bat. The organization hasn't given many details on the situation, it's unknown how long O'Hoppe will be sidelined. It's a shame because the 23-year-old was off to a hot start at the plate. He was slashing .283/.339/.547 with four homers and 13 RBI in his first 16 games. In a corresponding move, Chad Wallach will be recalled from Triple-A and start behind the dish for Friday's contest versus the Kansas City Royals.
