Malcolm Brogdon Wins Sixth Man Of The Year Award
2 years agoBoston Celtics guard Malcolm Brogdon has been named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year. He becomes the first Celtic player since Bill Walton in 1986 to win the award. He beats out Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley and Bucks forward Bobby Portis in the voting. Brogdon averaged 14.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists in 67 appearances, which were all off the bench during his first season in Boston. He finished with a 48.4 shooting percentage which was his best percentage since the 2018 season. Brogdon remains under contract for the 2024 season as he looks to continue to build on his success.
