2 years agoIndianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) won't be preoccupied with potential contract talks in the near future. "It wouldn't be a distraction to me," commented the 24-year-old during an interview The Athletic. "I'm under contract here for four years. I put pen to the paper. I made an obligation to them. They made an obligation to me. But things will happen naturally." Taylor has had a productive career (43 games), amassing 3,841 yards off 756 carries. He also has 104 catches for 802 yards and 36 total touchdowns on his resume. Yet, whether or not the All-Pro has a new deal on his mind doesn't mean rumblings won't intensify moving ahead, especially for a guy coming off ankle surgery. Nevertheless, despite Taylor's limited participation during the 2022-23 campaign, he'll still be a top fantasy option heading toward Week 1.
