Domantas Sabonis Looks Much Better In Game 2 Versus Warriors
2 years agoSacramento Kings forward/center Domantas Sabonis overcame his Game 1 struggles with a solid performance in Monday's Game 2 against the Warriors, notching 24 points on 8-for-12 shooting and adding nine rebounds and four assists in a 114-106 victory. After finishing with just 12 points in the first meeting, he got eight points at the free-throw line alone with 12 attempts and ended up sharing the top scorers' honors on the team with De'Aaron Fox. Sabonis had to get X-rays on his ribs and lungs after the game following a Draymond Green stop on his chest, but they returned back negative, so it appears that he luckily avoided injury in the incident. Things are getting spicy in the series, with the Warriors down 2-0 in the playoffs for the first time since 2007, and Sabonis and the Kings now have to prove that they can also do the business on the road.
