2 years agoNew York Yankees right-hander Domingo German allowed one run on three hits over 6 1/3 innings in a 6-1 win over the Minnesota Twins on Saturday. German struck out 11 batters and walked none while earning the win. The veteran right-hander was on top of his game on Saturday after lasting just three innings in his previous start. German notched an impressive 18 swinging strikes and racked up a 42% CSW in the start. He now has a 1-1 record, 3.86 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 19 strikeouts over 14 innings of work. His next start is scheduled for Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays. He's worth a look in deeper leagues if he's out there on waivers.
