Braden Bristo Goes Three Innings For Thursday's Save
2 years agoTampa Bay Rays right-hander Braden Bristo made his Major League debut during Thursday's matchup with the Boston Red Sox. He came into the game in the seventh and pitched the last three innings to earn the save of the 9-3 victory. Bristo allowed no hits, walked one, and struck out four. The 28-year-old has always had a big arm and posted a 28.3% career Minor League strikeout rate. However, with the abundance of solid pitchers in the Rays bullpen, it'll be hard for Bristo to find himself in conventional save opportunities in the future.
