Zach Collins Recovering From Surgery
2 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward/center Zach Collins (finger) is recovering from surgery after having a procedure done on April 8. A laceration on his left hand became infected after Collins suffered a cut on his finger in a game against Portland on April 6. The big man ended up missing the final two regular-season games because of the issue. Collins has finished his fifth season in the league. He averaged career numbers across the board, scoring 11.6 points per game and registering 6.4 rebounds with 2.9 assists. The 25-year-old was a reserve for most of the campaign and Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich has already said that the Gonzaga product will be his starting center in 2023-24, so fantasy managers have a lot of reasons to be excited about Collins next season.
