Eduardo Rodriguez Logs A Quality Start On Wednesday
2 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez allowed one run on seven hits with three strikeouts and one walk across six innings in a 3-2 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. Rodriguez didn't factor into the decision as he didn't receive much run support and Detroit would eventually fall in extra-innings. It was the 30-year-old's best start of the season and his first quality start. Rodriguez has an 0-2 record, 4.50 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and a 9:5 K/BB ratio across 16 innings (three starts) so far this year. It won't get much easier for the left-hander as he draws the Guardians at home in his next turn.
