Tom Kim In A Good Spot Heading To Hilton Head
2 years agoA full-fledged fade for many last week at Augusta National, Tom Kim put on a fine display in his Masters debut. A T16 finish was not only enough to surpass the expectations of many fans, but Kim also displayed some of the vintage iron play that allowed him to burst onto the world scene last summer. Kim gained nearly 6.5 strokes ball-striking over his four rounds at Augusta, and now he comes into his Harbour Town debut with some much-needed confidence. The 20-year-old Korean international has already won in the Carolinas before -- a dominant five-shot win at Sedgefield last fall -- and his precision-based game is tailor-made for the positional test on offer at the Heritage. Kim makes for a solid all-around play in DFS and is an intriguing option at 40-1 in the outright market.
