Alek Thomas Logs RBI Single, Swipes Bag In Sunday's Win
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Alek Thomas went 1-for-5 with an RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Dodgers. With runners on first and second, Thomas laced a single off Michael Grove in the bottom of the third inning to give the Diamondbacks the 4-3 lead. The 22-year-old started the season hitless in the first 16 at-bats but went 5-for-9 with a triple, two RBI, and a stole base over the weekend series against Los Angeles. According to Baseball Savant, Thomas' expected batting average (xBA) of .342 is in the 96th percentile. Fantasy managers should look to add Thomas in all league formats while he's wielding a hot bat.
