2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Alek Thomas went 1-for-5 with an RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Dodgers. With runners on first and second, Thomas laced a single off Michael Grove in the bottom of the third inning to give the Diamondbacks the 4-3 lead. The 22-year-old started the season hitless in the first 16 at-bats but went 5-for-9 with a triple, two RBI, and a stole base over the weekend series against Los Angeles. According to Baseball Savant, Thomas' expected batting average (xBA) of .342 is in the 96th percentile.
