Matt Brash Struggles On Sunday
2 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Matt Brash was unable to shut the door versus the Cleveland Guardians on Sunday. The right-hander was asked to take the mound in the ninth with Paul Sewald unavailable. Brash struggled in this outing, allowing two hits, two earned runs, and struck out three batters during his one inning of work. The 24-year-old is currently the No. 2 option in the bullpen with Andres Munoz (shoulder) still on the injured list. This is already his second blown save of the season. Luckily, Sewald should be fine going forward after getting a rest day on Sunday.
