2 years agoWinnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck was outstanding in a must-win game against Nashville on Saturday, leading his squad to a 2-0 win with a 28-save shutout. With 32 shutouts in total to his name, Hellebuyck now holds the eighth spot on the all-time list among American goalies. Nashville has threatened to beat Winnipeg for the final playoff berth in the Western Conference, but the Jets now have the edge in the race. Hellebuyck has been a big part of the team's success this season, going for a 35-25-2 record with a 2.53 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage.
