Joey Gallo Exits Early With Side Soreness
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Minnesota Twins outfielder Joey Gallo (side) was removed early from Friday's game against the Houston Astros with right side soreness in the sixth inning. We have no idea on what the extent of his injury is, so fantasy managers will have to check back later Friday night or Saturday morning. Before leaving, Gallo was 0-for-1 with a walk in the contest. The 29-year-old left-handed slugger's fantasy managers will be hoping that he won't miss extended time, as he's off to a hot start in his first year with the Twins with three home runs in the first seven games. Nick Gordon entered in place of Gallo, and he'd see more playing time if Gallo needs a stint on the injured list.
