Grayson Rodriguez Has Strong Debut
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Grayson Rodriguez made his MLB debut against the Texas Rangers on Wednesday. The right-hander was recalled after Kyle Bradish (foot) landed on the injured list. Rodriguez struggled early, allowing two runs in the first inning. However, he settled down after that and allowed zero runs through the next four innings. The 23-year-old finished with four hits allowed, two earned runs, and five strikeouts over five innings of work. Another strong start could make a good case for Rodriguez sticking around in the MLB once Bradish returns.
