Min Woo Lee A True Dark-Horse At The Masters
2 years agoMany Americans got their introduction to the charismatic young Australian at last month's Players Championship. Min Woo Lee entered Sunday afternoon just two shots back of eventual champion Scottie Scheffler but was quickly steamrolled like the other 160 players that week. Still, it was a promising stateside result for the 24-year-old Aussie, who had come into the Florida swing off of the back of a phenomenal year-end run through Europe and Australia. With his sights now solely focused on making a name on the PGA Tour, Lee returns to the site of his best Major result to date -- a T14 at last year's Masters tournament. With his combination of power off the tee and incredible touch on and around the greens, he certainly fits the profile of many former Masters' standouts. If he can recapture some of that Sawgrass magic, there's no telling how far he can ascend through the world ranks.
