Anthony Rizzo Being Rested Against Lefty
2 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo is taking the day off on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Phillies and left-hander Matt Strahm. With Rizzo out, DJ LeMahieu will start at first base and hit leadoff for the Yankees. Rizzo connected on his first home run of the season in the series-opening win against the Phillies on Monday night, and he's now hitting .333 (4-for-12) with a double, home run, four RBI and two runs scored in the first four games for the Bombers. Rizzo will most likely be managing a back issue at times this year, but he should still be rostered in all fantasy leagues for his power stroke from the left side of the plate. LeMahieu is also off to a nice start as New York's table-setter, going 4-for-13 (.308) with a double, triple and RBI in 14 plate appearances.
