D'Angelo Russell Exits With Foot Soreness
2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell logged only 15 minutes of action Sunday against Houston, leaving the game with left foot soreness. He managed six points, three rebounds and four assists in the limited time. Dennis Schroder replaced Russell in the starting unit for the second half but had a very quiet outing in a blowout win. Russell recently missed two games with a hip problem and has featured in only 14 games since returning to L.A. on Feb. 9. His injury proneness must be a worry for the team, but Russell has done well when in the lineup, averaging 17.1 points, 3.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists with close to 40 percent shooting from deep.
