2 years agoSan Diego Padres right-handed pitcher Seth Lugo shined over seven innings against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday, leading the Padres to a 3-1 win. Lugo stifled the Rockies lineup in his first start since 2020, allowing just four hits and striking out seven while not walking a batter. Lugo was efficient as well, needing just 93 pitches. If Lugo, who has been a great reliever for many years, can keep his effectiveness while starting games, he will be a great fantasy option while pitching for a very good Padres team that should give him run support.
