Panthers Not Settled On One QB For No. 1 Pick
2 years agoA very unscientific poll of sources that ESPN's Dan Graziano spoke with at the owners meetings this week told him that most people expect the Carolina Panthers to take Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. However, head coach Frank Reich was adamant that the team is going through the process and considering Stroud, Alabama's Bryce Young, Kentucky's Will Levis and Florida's Anthony Richardson equally. Panthers officials met with Stroud, Young and Levis at their respective Pro Days and plan to meet with Richardson this week. It would be a pretty big surprise if the Panthers didn't go with either Stroud or Young with their pick this year. Whoever they select should be the starter in Week 1.
