Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Plays Well In Loss
2 years agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander did everything he could during Thursday's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. He finished with 30 points, four rebounds, and three assists in 27 minutes on Thursday. The Thunder had Gilgeous-Alexander on the bench to begin the fourth quarter as they continue to be cautious with their star guard. The team has a key matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. Possibly, the team was trying to save Gilgeous-Alexander for that game because Thursday was a blowout anyway. Although, the last time Gilgeous-Alexander played in back-to-back set was in February. He might end up sitting out on Friday, which could mean increased minutes for Isaiah Joe and a bigger role for Josh Giddey.
