2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard signed his franchise tag on Thursday, according to sources. He is due $10.091 million in 2023, and Pollard and the Cowboys have until July 17 to work out a long-term extension. The Cowboys recently cut Ezekiel Elliott and signed Ronald Jones, so Pollard is set to enter the 2023 season as Dallas' primary running back. However, there's a very real chance the team could add more backfield help in April's draft, especially since Pollard's availability early on could be in jeopardy after he had ankle surgery in January. When healthy, the explosive 25-year-old back has clear RB1 upside in this offense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
