Mecole Hardman Agrees To One-Year Deal With Jets
2 years agoAccording to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, free-agent wide receiver Mecole Hardman has agreed to a one-year deal with the New York Jets. The 25-year-old could earn up to $6.5 million, and it comes after he finished the 2022-23 campaign by amassing 25 catches for 297 yards and four touchdowns. In all fairness, he was limited to just eight games because of a groin injury. Outside of health concerns, Hardman must compete with Garrett Wilson, Corey Davis, and former Packer Allen Lazard for targets during the season. As a result, he may not be a consistent fantasy contributor. Uncertainty at the quarterback position is another thing that could limit Hardman's production, but that problem should be solved somewhat if the Jets add a reliable signal-caller.
