Texans Reach Agreement With Devin Singletary
2 years agoThe Houston Texans reached an agreement to sign former Buffalo Bills free-agent running back Devin Singletary to an undisclosed deal on Monday, according to a source. Singletary will give the Texans an additional weapon alongside Dameon Pierce, who thoroughly impressed in his rookie season in 2022 before going down with an injury. The 25-year-old has averaged 4.6 yards per carry in each of the last two seasons with the Bills. Singletary totaled 1,099 scrimmage yards last year with Buffalo and added six touchdowns on 215 total touches. He'll serve as a nice complement in Houston's backfield to Pierce, but as long as Pierce stays healthy, Singletary's fantasy upside remain capped.
