2 years agoAccording to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys will host free-agent running back Ronald Jones on Monday. The organization recently parted ways with Ezekiel Elliott, and Tony Pollard (fibula) suffered a leg injury during the NFC Divisional Round. As a result, the team needs to explore its options while being mindful of its cap situation. Jones spent last season in Kansas City, where he saw the field sparingly. He finished with just one touchdown in 2022-23 after amassing 20 in four years with the Buccaneers. If the 25-year-old ends up in Dallas, he's someone to watch, especially since he could see additional work early in the season if Pollard isn't healthy enough to play.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
