2 years agoFree-agent wide receiver DJ Chark is visiting with the Carolina Panthers on Friday, according to a source. In the six games he saw five or more targets with the Detroit Lions last season, the former LSU standout averaged almost 70 yards per game with three touchdowns. Carolina is certainly in the receiver market after sending DJ Moore to the Chicago Bears in part of their huge package that was necessary to trade into the No. 1 overall spot in this year's draft. As of right now, their top three wideouts are Laviska Shenault Jr., Terrace Marshall Jr. and Shi Smith. Chark played in only 11 games for Detroit last year due to injuries, but he managed 30 receptions, 502 yards and three touchdowns. The 26-year-old had a 1,000-yard season with the Jaguars back in 2019 and could have a big role in Carolina if he lands there.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
