Jordan Spieth Trying To Pay Off Recent Form With A Win
2 years agoIt's been a pretty successful last few weeks for the ever-mercurial Jordan Spieth. A 19th-place finish this past week at the PLAYERS was the best result Spieth has had since 2014 at TPC Sawgrass. The ball-striking looks to be in fine form heading into this week's Valspar Championship in Tampa. Spieth has gained over a stroke per round on approach over his last four events and his patented short-game magic has continued to be a reliable tool for one of the PGA Tour's most volatile golfers. The Valspar is an event that Spieth found continual success at in his earlier years on Tour. He's posted one win and three additional T20s from 2013-2016 at the Copperhead Course. With the way he's playing recently, Innisbrook could provide a golden opportunity to turn back the clock for the Texan.
