2 years agoThe Houston Texans have signed safety Jimmie Ward, according to Aaron Wilson. The nine-year veteran has spent his entire career with the San Francisco 49ers. However, the former first rounder was turned from starter to situational player last season. That being said, Ward has decided to sign elsewhere, so he can be a starter. He reunites with former defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans in Houston. Ward has played both safety and defensive back throughout his career. It's uncertain which he's going to play in Houston, but regardless this is an upgrade to their defense.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
