Kris Bryant Scratched From Monday's Game
2 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Kris Bryant was a late scratch ahead of Monday's Cactus League game. It sounds like the slugger isn't dealing with an injury, but the team wanted to give him an extra day to rest. The Rockies are trying to manage Bryant's workload heading into 2023 after he played 42 games last season. The 31-year-old is hitting .278 with three home runs and four RBI this spring. Bryant has the potential to be a superstar, but injuries continue to hold him back. Hopefully, Bryant can stay healthy and should benefit from playing in Coors Field.
