2 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals are releasing pass-rusher Markus Golden on Friday, according to a source. It comes after Golden had 11 sacks with the Cardinals in 2020. However, he fell back to Earth last season, finishing with only 2.5 sacks, 48 tackles (22 solo), seven tackles for loss and 20 QB hits in 17 games (14 starts) in the desert. The 31-year-old former second-round pick by the Cardinals in 2015 has three seasons of double-digit sacks in his career, but outside of those years he's done very little. Teams that consider him on the open market this offseason will be hoping he can go off again in the sack department.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
