Carlos Correa Leaves Camp For Birth Of Child
2 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa has left the team's spring training camp for the birth of his second son, Kenzo. Correa shouldn't be away from the team for more than a few days. The 28-year-old had a very eventful offseason, almost landing two giant free-agent deals with the San Francisco Giants and New York Mets before returning to the Twins. Long-term medical issues aside, he remains a solid four-category contributor for fantasy managers. You can basically rule out steals with Correa at this point in his career. It would have been nice to see what he could have done in a stacked Mets lineup in 2023, but fantasy managers will have to settle for his production in Minnesota. RotoBaller has Correa ranked as the No. 15 fantasy shortstop.
