Panthers Could Trade Up For A Quarterback
2 years agoThe Carolina Panthers could be a team to watch in the top 10 of this year's NFL draft that could trade up to take a quarterback. They currently have the No. 9 overall pick, right behind the Atlanta Falcons and Las Vegas Raiders, both of whom could be going QB with their picks. Sources at the NFL combine last week expect the Panthers to be aggressive in their efforts to move up and secure their franchise signal-caller. The top option would be to trade up to first overall with the Chicago Bears to have their choice of QB, but it remains to be seen if that will happen. Even if Carolina secures their QB of the future early on in this year's draft, they could re-sign Sam Darnold to have him serve as a stopgap under center.
