Raiders Place Franchise Tag On Josh Jacobs
2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs is going to be back with the organization next season. The team has officially placed the franchise tag on Jacobs. The Raiders declined Jacobs fifth-year option last season, so they'll now pay him $10 million on the franchise tag for the upcoming season. It sounds like the two sides are still discussing a new deal, so possibly Jacobs still gets a long term contract. The 25-year-old said he will play on the franchise tag if the Raiders get talented players around him. Jacobs was a stud last season with 1,653 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns for the Raiders. He should be a strong RB1 heading into next season's fantasy drafts.
