2 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has reportedly not made much progress on a contract extension with the organization, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano. That being said, it seems likely that Meyers will hit the open market on March 15th. It is speculated that Meyers could get a deal similar to that of fellow wide receiver Christian Kirk. If that's true, Meyers would get a deal worth $18 million per season, but which is technically in the Patriots budget. However, it's unlikely that they will want to spend that much money in one place. Possibly, Meyers returns to New England if his other deals fall short in free agency. It seems more likely than not that Meyers will be playing with another organization next season. His fantasy value is going to be determined on wherever he lands this offseason.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
