Marcus Kemp Joins Commanders
2 years agoThe Washington Commanders have signed wide receiver Marcus Kemp to a one-year deal. This is by no means a blockbuster move, but a nice decision to add depth to their wide receiver room. The 27-year-old bounced between the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad and active roster last season. He rarely saw action on offense, but was heavily used on special teams in Kansas City. Former Chiefs coordinator Eric Bieniemy took the offensive coordinator job with the Commanders this offseason. Possibly, Bieniemy has bigger plans for Kemp in 2023. Fantasy managers can continue to ignore Kemp because he'll probably be used mostly on special teams.
