Devin Vassell Resting Against The Rockets
2 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward Devin Vassell (knee) won't play on Saturday against the Rockets. Vassell returned on Thursday versus the Indiana Pacers after missing two months because of left knee surgery. He played well, finishing the evening with 18 points in 23 minutes from the bench. Vassell will likely be back in the lineup for Sunday's rematch with Houston. However, the Spurs will be shorthanded entering this one, with Doug McDermott (thumb) and Isaiah Roby (ankle) already ruled out. At the same time, Keldon Johnson (foot) is doubtful, while Malaki Branham (back) is questionable. As a result, Jeremy Sochan, who scored a team-high 22 points on Thursday, Zach Collins, and Devonte' Graham could end up leading the way offensively.
