2 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers (shoulder) will get a second opinion after the first opinion on his dislocated left shoulder called for season-ending surgery. The Rockies will consider internal candidates first and don't seem to have any interest in bringing infielder Jose Iglesias back. Already a player that fantasy managers in most leagues are tired of waiting for, the 26-year-old should definitely be avoided now in upcoming drafts with the possibility of missing the entire 2023 campaign. Rodgers hit .266/.325/.408 with a .733 OPS, 13 home runs, a career-high 63 RBI and 72 runs scored in 137 games last year, and he's still looking for his first career stolen base after four MLB seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
