Dolphins Open To Re-Signing Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson Jr.
2 years agoMiami Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said the team is open to re-signing impending free-agent running backs Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr. this offseason, if possible. Grier also said he could look into drafting a running back in earlier rounds than he has in the past if a good one is available that head coach Mike McDaniel likes. Mostert and Wilson have plenty of experience with McDaniel, dating back to their time with the San Francisco 49ers, so it would make sense if they both returned. Mostert led Miami in rushing with 891 yards and three touchdowns on 181 carries in 16 games, but Wilson took valuable touches away from him after being acquired from the Niners. Wilson finished with 392 yards and three TDs on 84 attempts in eight games played for Miami.
