Financials Unlikely To Be A Factor For Aaron Rodgers
2 years agoThere is no reason to think that financials will be a major factor as to whether Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers returns to the team in 2023 if he wants to continue his playing career. General manager Brian Gutekunst recently indicated that if Rodgers does return to the team next year, there will likely be some kind of adjustment/restructure of his contract. The 39-year-old future Hall of Fame QB is set to count for $31.6 million on the 2023 salary cap, and he's guaranteed $59.465 million if he continues to play. Rodgers recently went on a darkness retreat, but he's yet to make a final decision on his future. If Rodgers wants to return but the Packers want to move on to Jordan Love, they will attempt to trade him. Stay tuned.
