2 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (oblique) is likely to miss time after suffering an injury while throwing on Monday. The organization isn't going to mess around with the oft-injured right-hander. The plan is for Glasnow to undergo an MRI on Tuesday. The team will likely give a timetable on Glasnow after that, but the team is going to remain cautious. That being said, Glasnow is probably a long shot for Opening Day after this injury. Yonny Chirinos or Luis Patino would probably take his spot in the rotation if he's not ready by the beginning of the season. Fantasy managers should check back on Tuesday for another update on his status. This injury could certainly hurt his position in fantasy drafts, so stay tuned for updates.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
