Pirates Haven't Made An Offer To Bryan Reynolds
2 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds said he doesn't have an idea on whether he expects contract-extension talks to be productive with the team because the team has yet to make a new offer. Reynolds also said he's not going to set any deadline to complete a deal, so it sounds as though he'd be open to discussing an extension after the regular season begins in 2023. The Pirates and Reynolds aren't close to any type of long-term deal, and there's also the chance that they look to trade him as the deadline approaches this summer. Contract issues aside, the 28-year-old continued to be productive for fantasy managers in 2022, although his homers and steals fell. A move to a better lineup is what all of Reynolds' fantasy managers will be hoping for this year.
