2 years agoOttawa Senators goaltender Cam Talbot (lower body) will go back to work Friday against Carolina. He hasn't played since Jan. 25 while recovering from a lower-body injury. The team went a solid 6-2-1 without Talbot, but he will make a welcome return on Friday. The veteran has produced a 12-13-1 record this season with a 2.90 goals-against average, a .905 save percentage and one shutout. The Hurricanes have gone 9-1-0 in their last 10 outings and sit among the league leaders, so Talbot won't exactly be eased back into action. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
