Kyle Hendricks Feels Good After Throwing Friday
2 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) felt good on Friday after throwing a 10-pitch, touch-and-feel bullpen session for the first time throwing off a mound since July 5 of last year. Hendricks expects to throw two more touch-and-feel bullpens before a series of full bullpen sessions. "I can be patient when I need to be so I just have to lock in on the process," Hendricks said. The 33-year-old veteran right-hander suffered a capsular tear in his right shoulder last year and is expected to open the 2023 season on the injured list. Along with a drop in his numbers the last two seasons, fantasy managers should be avoiding Hendricks in mixed-league formats this year.
