2 years agoToronto Raptors center Jakob Poeltl was just two rebounds shy of a 20-20 game as they grabbed a five-point win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday. The 27-year-old registered 21 points, 18 rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one block on 9-for-11 shooting. In the three games that he's entered the starting lineup for Toronto, Poeltl has averaged 19.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 2.0 steals, and 3.3 blocks per game on a crazy 81.8% shooting. Even though he was traded to a better team, the Raptors have desperately needed a solid center and his usage is proof of that.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
